As earnings start to roll in, downturn ad spend trends take shape. While last week Google’s earnings showed strength (Rev +31% yoy, oper income +7% qoq, TAC held @ 28%), yesterday Yahoo’s Yang said advertisers were cutting online display advertising: "This is in many ways an unprecedented operating environment".
